"Bushwacked!"

adapted from a stage by Bushwacker Johnston - North Alabama Regulators

Scenario
You and your company of Rangers have just returned home, the horses have been fed and put up, the pickets have taken up their posts, and all is quiet. With your trusty shotgun by the door, you sit down at the table to enjoy some of Mama's home cooking. Just as you start to eat you hear a picket yell "Halt", followed by a shot.

Suddenly all hell breaks loose and hot lead is flying, bullets striking the cabin like hail from hell's own thunderstorm. Caught by surprise, your men scramble to their stacked weapons. Bushwacker Johnston's renegades have mounted a cavalry charge and you and your men must regroup, return fire, and repel the attack.

Ammo
10 Pistol, 10 Rifle, 6+ shotgun

Starting Position
Seated at the table, with knife and fork in hand, two safely holstered pistols loaded with five rounds each.

Rifle safely staged in rifle rack, ten rounds in magazine.

Shotgun safely staged in corner of cabin, at least two shotshells on your person, at least four shotshells in saddlebags on fence.

Procedure
When ready, shout, "Bushwackers".

At the buzzer, drop utensils on the table, move to window, and engage pistol targets in a continuous Nevada Sweep, starting at either end.

Engage shotgun targets once each.

Make shotgun safe, exit cabin through door, and Nevada Sweep rifle targets, starting at either end.

Make rifle safe and move back into cabin, and, loading only from saddlebags, engage shotgun targets twice each, alternating targets between shots.
