"A Taller Tree or a Shorter Horse"

by Wild Bill Blackerby

Scenario
Ol' Jake's antics have pissed off one too many and finally catches up with him in the town of Foulmouth.

Accused of drunkin' sheep lovin', the sheriff decides to hang him, but Jake's too big for the gallows so he tells the folks to find a taller tree or shorter horse. They rustle up a little Shetland pony but Jake makes a run for it - lookin' like a big ol' bear tryin' to outrun the gunfire of the angry town folk.

Jake's quick but is he fast enough to make it to safety?

Ammo

Starting Position
Standing facing downrange, two safely holstered pistols loaded with five rounds each.
