"The Challenge"

A Christmas Story - Stage 4

by Wild Bill Blackerby

Scenario
While standing around outside in the cold, Ralphie's pals, Flick & Schwartz, debate the age old argument - will a tongue stick to a cold flagpole.

The discussion becomes heated between them and proof is needed. With no flagpole in sight Schwartz holds up his scattergun and dares Flick to put his tongue on it to prove the point once and for all. Flick scoffs at the idea but Schwartz administers the dreaded coup de grace of dares and Flick has no choice.

Hope the Black Bart gang doesn't show up with your tongue stuck on your 12 gauge.
